Are you as intrigued by names as we are? Meanings of names, sounds of names, name trends, name associations – there’s just so much to think about when it comes to picking out a child’s name. And of course, you want to choose a name that’s going to grow with your child and reflect his or her personality. This little girl’s name sure does suit her: Jillian. Feminine, sweet, and elegant in her pretty, pink dress and dainty cardigan with those big, blue eyes peeking out from underneath her white hat. She was every bit the little lady frolicking in the field with the flowers.
Jillian is as sweet as her name sounds! Ever so gently, she would play with her teddy and cuddle in the soft wool of the blanket. With outstretched arms, she’d run in to her mama’s arms and then smile sweetly for the camera.
But even the sweetest of little girls occasionally tires of having her picture taken. Still, even this pitiful little pout was just too cute!
Pouts were few and far between though. Sweet little Jillian had much more for our cameras. You see, the name Jillian is not only feminine, elegant, and sweet; it’s a little spunky too, as is Jillian – Jilly for short. That dainty girl that frolicked in the field with flowers also ate the flowers! And ripped that elegant little hat right off, preferring instead to stomp in the overgrown grass and jump up and down on the chair. Her energy and inquisitiveness definitely kept us on our toes!
Whether she was jumping on chairs, crying because we interrupted her fun on the chair, sitting pretty with her teddy, or smiling gleefully for the camera, Jillian was a delight to shoot.
